The customer needed an upgrade of the existing boiler plant, with a new redistribution of the installed capacity to optimize steam production for the industrial process.
The generated steam is used to power the vacuum pump, a key component of the production cycle dedicated to the manufacturing of metal sheets and ingots.
The objective was to improve the plant's energy efficiency while ensuring operational continuity and more flexible management of production loads.

The Solution

A revamping project of the boiler plant was carried out through the installation of two new 6 t/h steam boilers, designed to ensure high reliability and optimized energy consumption.
The plant was equipped with:

• A capacity redistribution system for more efficient load management
• Burners with pilot flames to maintain standby operation
• A configuration designed to ensure rapid response to production fluctuations
