The customer required a reliable and continuous heat source to support the drying and heating processes in food production. This phase is critical: removing moisture in a controlled way is essential to prevent chemical or microbiological reactions, ensuring the quality, stability, and safety of the final product.

The goal was to achieve a high-efficiency, monitorable, and low-emissions system capable of delivering consistent performance over time.


Implemented solution


A complete thermal system was designed and supplied, consisting of ASGX EN superheated water generators, with a total installed capacity of 15 MW.

The configuration includes:
  • Three-pass boiler design for robustness and stable operation
  • Economizer to recover residual heat from flue gases
  • Full thermal insulation to minimize heat losses
  • ICI ETERM continuous monitoring system, ensuring real-time control of performance and operating parameters

This solution is based on ICI Powering Evolution’s proven expertise in the dry and fresh pasta industry, where temperature precision is essential.
