The client, already a user of ICI generators, involved us in a feasibility study aimed at upgrading the two boiler rooms dedicated to the production of superheated water for heating and product drying.
The excellent previous experience with ICI led the client to develop a project based on three key objectives:
- Maximum energy efficiency
- Reduction of atmospheric emissions
- Compliance with the existing space constraints in the technical rooms
The ICI team, coordinated by Carlo Dalle Vedove, designed and proposed six superheated water systems capable of modulating the load down to minimal levels, each paired with two economizers for heat recovery from flue gases.
✅ Efficiency greater than 98%, and over 101% in condensing mode
✅ NOx emissions below 80 mg/Nm³, thanks to the flue gas recirculation system
✅ Wide modulation range, from 100% down to 16% of the load
✅ Optimized consumption and lower operating costs
