The initial project involved the construction of a new boiler room for the Italian headquarters of multinational Carlsberg.
The goal was to provide a high-performance solution ensuring energy efficiency, operational continuity, and compliance with environmental regulations.

The solution

After a detailed analysis of system requirements, ICI Powering Evolution proposed a tailor-made configuration consisting of:

• GX 10000 steam generator
• ECXV 90-100 economizer, for heat recovery of 606 kW
• GSS 72 system for up to 72 hours of autonomous operation without supervision
• High-efficiency Weishaupt burner
• Access ladder and walkway for maximum safety and accessibility

Achieved results

Thanks to collaboration with Carlsberg’s technical team and a shared design approach, it was possible to:

• Significantly increase the overall system efficiency
• Improve energy recovery while reducing consumption
• Optimize management through the operator-free exemption system
