Case Study

Detail

The client required an autonomous and efficient steam generation system to serve the Research & Development department, which is physically separated from the main steam distribution network.
The objective was to ensure operational continuity and high performance, without the need for constant supervision by certified personnel.

Implemented solution

A brand-new independent boiler room was designed and built, featuring a sandwich panel structure. Inside, a GSX series steam generator with a capacity of 3 t/h was installed.
The plant was equipped with:

  • A 72-hour unattended operation system

  • An economizer for heat recovery

  • Additional accessories to maximize performance and energy efficiency

Achieved results

Following close collaboration with the design engineer, the most suitable technical solution was identified: the GSX 3000 generator, which successfully met all expectations and project requirements by:

  • Achieving a thermal efficiency of up to 95%

  • Keeping NOx emissions below 100 mg/kWh

  • Ensuring cost-effective operation without requiring a permanently licensed operator

Benefits obtained

✅ Improved energy efficiency from day one
✅ Optimized consumption and lower operating costs
Reduced emissions in compliance with environmental regulations
Certified safety and reduced need for continuous supervision

Boilers installed

GX

The GX range features outstanding monobloc steam generators, designed to give maximum reliability and durability. All models have...

Steam production: 1700 ÷ 32000 kg/h

Nominal power: 1163 ÷ 17442 kW

Design pressure: 12 or 15 bar

Efficiency: 90,0 %
