CONDENSING HEAT RECOVERY UNIT

BAX is a condensing heat recovery unit built from AISI 316 Ti stainless steel. Must be located after the boiler flue gas exit output, exclusive fuel being natural gas / LPG. When the flue gas pass through the recovery unit, their temperature drops remarkably and, if the system return temperature is below 57 °C, condenses the water contained vapor by exploiting the latent heat of condensation.
The recovery unit must be hydraulically connected in series to matching boiler; the increase in water temperature is only by few Celsius degrees and the check of work minimum temperature permitted by the boiler is mandatory.

Some of the product's main features are listed below:
- heat exchange surfaces made from AISI 316 Ti stainless steel, welded with TIG method, consisting of stainless plates characterized by a particular corrugated shape being able to increase heat exchange surface, and facilitate droplet condensate formation allowing adequate drainage.
- the boiler shell with system  boiler flow and return connections, with external mineral wool insulation and embossed aluminum cladding.
- stainless steel front and back smoke complete with flue gas and condensate drain connections
- height adjustable support

IMPORTANT
These devices are suitable for operation both with gas and diesel fuel. The operation with diesel fuel shall be considered as an emergency condition or a test of the diesel circuits and for this reason it shall not last more than a consecutive week per year. During the operation with diesel fuel, the temperature and load settings must be such to avoid the formation of condensate from the flue gas. The diesel fuel combustion must occur with a sufficient quantity of air to allow a smoke value between 0-1 according to Bacharach scale. The recommended diesel fuel is the type with a low sulphur content; at any rate, a sulphur content higher than 0.1% is not allowed (standard diesel fuel for heating purposes).
